Before you email

Common questions

Is my data backed up?
Yes. When you're signed in, Dawny mirrors your planner data to our Supabase project. If you lose your phone or reinstall, signing back in restores your activities, tasks, and goals. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I use Dawny without signing in?
Signing in with your email is required. It's how your data stays safe if your phone is lost or replaced.

Can I export my data?
Export is coming. If you need your data today, email us and we'll help.

Does it work offline?
Yes. Every change is written to your device first and syncs when you're back online.

How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm twice and we immediately remove your account and every synced activity, task, goal, and category. The deletion is permanent — no undo. If something goes wrong, email sankalpasawa@gmail.com and we'll finish it manually.

Why does it ask for notification permissions?
So we can remind you at the start of a time block, if you set a reminder. No marketing notifications, ever.

Bug reports

When reporting a bug, please include your iOS version, Dawny version (Settings → About), and what you were doing when it happened.
