Dawny is a daily planner. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it's stored, and who can see it.
Email address. When you sign in, we collect your email to identify your account and secure your data.
Your planner content. The activities, tasks, goals, categories, and experience logs you create in the app.
We do not collect: location, contacts, photos, calendars, health or fitness data, device identifiers for advertising, web browsing history, or any analytics / telemetry about how you use the app.
On your device. Every change you make is written first to a local SQLite database on your phone. The app is fully usable offline.
On our Supabase project. When you're signed in and online, your changes are mirrored to a Supabase project operated by Dawny's developer (Sankalp Asawa). Supabase is a managed database and auth provider, run with row-level security so only your signed-in account can read your own rows.
Supabase is a third-party data processor. Their practices: supabase.com/privacy.
Only you, via your signed-in account. We do not share, sell, or rent your data to advertisers, analytics vendors, or any third party.
Dawny's developer has technical access to the Supabase project for operational reasons (debugging a sync issue, restoring a backup). We do not read individual user content for any other purpose.
The shipping app does not include analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Your data stays in the Supabase project as long as your account exists. To delete your account in-app: open Settings → Account → Delete Account, confirm twice, and we immediately remove your account, every row of your synced content, and the authentication record. There is no undo. If the in-app flow fails for any reason, email sankalpasawa@gmail.com from the address on file and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy on your device.
If you opt in, Dawny sends local notifications to remind you about scheduled activities. Notification content is generated on your device from your own planner data. No third-party push provider sees the content.
Dawny is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. It's not designed for children and doesn't offer child-directed content.
Communication with Supabase runs over HTTPS/TLS. Authentication is email-based. If a future release changes the collection or storage model, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change ships.
